| Tucked away on Tunnel Mountain, the Resort is quiet and secluded with some of the most spectacular views in the Canadian Rockies. The modern condos and rustic A-frame chalets feature wood burning fireplaces, full kitchens and patios or balconies. Soak in the giant outdoor hot tub, barbeque in the covered barbeque area or take a stroll along one of the many hiking trails that start outside your door. | The Lodge lies on nine acres of forested land mountainside on the gentle slopes of Tunnel Mountain, which native people called "sleeping buffalo". The Main Lodge compliments its natural setting with square timber, post and beam construction, and high open ceilings. Decor pays tribute to old-world craftsmanship, from custom made cherry, pine and bent-willow furnishings to copper and glass light fixtures. Simple, elegant design is a hallmark of the resort, and symbolizes the lifestyle at the Lodge. | The family operated hotel is located 15 minutes from Banff in the heart of Canmore. The award-winning architectural design features a log and antique theme. The rooms feature watercolour prints by local artists, while museum turn-of-the-century Canmore photographs grace the walls in public areas. Guest rooms feature fireplace, AC, balcony/patio, TV, phone, hair-dryer, coffee maker and a scenic mountain view.
