Ranch & Spa Resort, 100 Mile House – Chilcotin Area

The Guest Ranch and Spa is located just north of 100 Miles House in the midst of an inspiring landscape with some of the largest cattle ranches in Canada. A land of a thousand lakes, rolling meadowlands with grazing cattle and horses, heavily forested hills and mountains, sets you in the midst of your refuge. The Ranch offers a large staff of health and wellness professionals, extensive daily fitness programs, spa treatment, daily hiking and horseback riding; creating an environment for relaxation, renewal, and restoration… Summertime in British Columbia's Cariboo region is an unforgettable experience with nature! Enjoy yourself on a horseback holiday at the guest ranch. You can join us on our half-day Cowboy Breakfast Rides where a delicious full cowboy breakfast is cooked and served to you on the open trail, or the all day Cowboy Cook-outs including a fabulous lunch. With tens of thousands of acres of beautiful wilderness and ranchland, game bird preservations and wildlife areas, the Guest Ranch offers a most unique ranch experience. The air and water are fresh and pure and everything at the ranch lends itself to a relaxing family vacation. Your own friendly horse, knowledgeable, and competent wranglers and guides are all part of your riding experience. The Guest Ranch has everything that this great natural wilderness area can offer. All ranch activities are run out of a big red barn where rides begin and end - including our entertaining Hay Ride Sing-Along parties, where an old-fashioned hay-wagon is hitched up to a beautifully matched pair of stock horses. Guests are transported through a picturesque network of trails as evening settles in the forest. After about 20-30 minutes, the ride reaches Willy's Wigwam, a massive native tepee. Inside, you are treated to refreshments, a big bon-fire, and a whole lotta hoopla!!! The entertainers will get you stomping your feet to well-known folk tunes. You may even get to try to win the Best Jig contest. After about an hour of revelry, you hop on to the wagon for the return trip to the barn. In the evening, relax in the new “1871 Lodge”, where you can share your daily experiences with our other guests.

The lodge rooms are deluxe hotel-style rooms. They feature either one queen-size bed or one queen plus one double-size bed. Each room has its own fully equipped private bathroom. Cozy bathrobes are provided for your comfort and these new lodges are only a few short steps from the main building. The Guest boasts a full service country dining room with an excellent gourmet menu, serving healthy ranch, vegetarian and low-fat Spa Cuisine. Also in the main building, besides our 15 treatment rooms, is a fully equipped exercise facility featuring free weights, a full circuit of Apex equipment, large aerobic area, Lifestride treadmills, a stair-climber, and exercise bikes. There is an indoor swimming pool, two relaxing hydrotherapy pools, and two dry saunas.
