Located at the North end of Chilko Lake and Tsylos Provincial Park, the resort is a jewel set amongst the breathtaking Coast Mountain range, midway between Williams Lake and Bella Coola. We are only a 1-hour flight north of Vancouver. Boasting a wide array of outdoor and indoor activities, the resort offers a luxurious stay in this truly healing blend of wilderness and comfort. Overlooking the lake and headwaters of the river, the serenity of the Lodge and the land that surrounds it will melt your tensions away. On-site we have a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and gym. Enjoy a tennis match, a volleyball game, play horseshoes or just laze in the sun. In the dining room, treat your palette to fresh gourmet cuisine created from some of the finest local seafood, fresh produce and perfectly prepared wild game. Resort Activity Package
Relish in all that your favorite home away from home has to offer. You already have full and unlimited access to the Lodge amenities such as the swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and gym. Beyond that, you will have 4 hours per day of the guided activity of your choice. Go for a horseback ride, a boat tour or take a hike into the awe-inspiring surroundings. With this all-inclusive package, the only thing you will need to worry about is what to do next.
Guided Fishing Package
Test your fly-fishing skill on the Chilko River. Catch and release of Rainbow Trout, Bull Trout and Dolly Varden is permitted. Drifting along with your licensed guide you will search the river and fish the many holes these World Class waters have to offer. Or spend a day on the lake with a licensed fishing guide that will take you to where the action is. At 80 km long, Chilko Lake is the largest in the Coast Mountains with Dolly Varden up to 12 pounds and Rainbow Trout up to 8 pounds. Single barbless hooks must be used with no live bait. All fishing supplies and licenses are available at the resort.
Wildlife Watching Package
Meet Mother Nature in this virtually untouched and protected environment. The Chilcotin region is home to many wild species including the notorious Grizzly Bear, the fearless Black bear, and the mysterious Cougar. Over thirty kinds of birds have been sighted in this area such as the majestic Bald and Golden Eagles, the elegant Great Blue Heron and many songbirds always in performance. The salmon runs, in the spring and late summer, turn the river crimson and draw the preying wildlife to its shores. In this type of area the list of natural inhabitants could go on for miles.
